Current Project Status

Significant progress has been made on the Catalina Project since the first phase of works commenced in 2011. The following has been achieved to date:

Civil works have been completed to Stages 1 – 15 and 18A comprising over 815 lots. Bulk earthworks for the Central Precinct have been completed for Stages 1 - 18. Phase 1 bulk earthworks for the Western Precinct (Catalina Beach) were completed in September 2015, allowing for civil works to be progressed for 200 lots at Catalina Beach.  

The Marmion Avenue/Aviator Boulevard intersection and associated service relocations have all been completed and commissioned by Main Roads.  The intersection provides an easy and direct entry into the Catalina Project and to the Catalina Sales Office and Builders Display Village.

The Catalina Project has 595 homes completed and another 129 currently under construction. A range of lot types and sizes have been produced supporting a diverse mix of housing, from large 4 x 2 family homes on lots in the order 450m² to terraced cottage style housing on lots of 225m².

ABN Joint Venture
Completion of the construction on a joint venture development between the TPRC and ABN Group at Lot 1 of the Catalina Estate was achieved in September 2015. The development consists of 25, one and two-bedroom units.

Catalina Sales Office
The Catalina Sales Office has been operational since May 2014. It is located at 39 Aviator Boulevard and comprises a modern and contemporary house showing best practice housing techniques.

Operating hours are as follows:
Monday - Wednesday: 12pm - 5pm
Thursday: Closed
Friday - Sunday: 12pm - 5 pm 

Sales and Marketing
As of August 2016, 815 lots have been released for sale at Catalina, with status of the lots being as follows:

  • Sold  - 786 lots
  • Settled -  750 lots

Builders Display Village
The Catalina Builders Display Village Two was completed in February 2016 and comprises 23 houses by Perth’s leading builders and contains impressive, contemporary and innovative homes. The new Display Village offers the latest housing designs including a substantial range of two-storey housing.  

To date a number of parks have been completed at Catalina, including:

The Stage 4, 8, 10, 11 and 13 parks, Neerabup Road verge works and the Aviator Entry off Marmion Avenue. All these areas provide important local amenities for residents and demonstrate the quality of the Catalina Project. The Greenlink along Aviator Boulevard is continuing to be progressed and currently has two exercise nodes along the path. The Greenlink will form a high amenity pedestrian link between the three Precincts of the Catalina Estate.
